JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Director, Multiple Myeloma (MM) Marketing is a key member of the Global Marketing team who will develop and present commercial marketing plans for Multiple Myeloma (MM) products in the pre-clinical, clinical, pre-market, and early lifecycle stages of development.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
§ Optimize the commercial potential of our assets in MM through the development of strategic marketing plans.
§ Act as the Global Marketing leader on global project teams responsible for the overall development of our MM assets.
§ Develop global strategy, positioning, messaging and brand imagery in collaboration with regional marketing leads.
§ Develop life cycle plan for assets within MM.
§ Complete market opportunity assessments in the MM market and make recommendations on indications with the most significant commercial or strategic importance for company.
§ Review and validate global sales and resource forecasts, initiate relevant Market Research projects to inform strategic brand plans, and KPI tracking.
§ Partner with business intelligence to ensure proactively outwits the competition.
§ Develop partnerships with key external stakeholders/KOLs in the MM market.
§ Support IR/PR by informing on the latest market and product developments.
§ Provide commercial input for business development opportunities in the MM setting.
§ Partners with Global Medical Affairs MM leads on publication planning, IIT, KOL and Med Education strategies.
§ As compounds progress in pipeline/through external licensing/acquisitions, incumbent may be responsible for hiring direct reports to continue to drive and support responsibilities outlined above.

§ Proven track record of effective people management including coaching and development planning.
§ Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, and act collaboratively.
§ Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations.
§ Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments.
§ Strong project/process management skills combined with managing multiple tasks/effective prioritization.
§ Must be able to conceptualize and articulate a vision that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders.
§ Proven team player, particularly working with Clinical/R&D with ability to navigate cross functionally.
§ Ability to interact with, influence and provide direction to various functions.
§ Successful candidate should have at least 8-10 years industry experience with 3+ years of marketing/equivalent experience, preferably with at least 2 years of oncology experience. Hematology experience strongly desirable. Sales/other commercial/analytical background preferred.
